Golden Artist Colors Celebrates ‘Employee Paint Day’
On June 21, 2010, instead of making paint, staff used it! Golden Artist Colors, Inc. celebrated Employee Paint Day, an opportunity for all staff to paint and take workshops from the professional artists of the GOLDEN Working Artists Program. They had the chance to be artists, spending their day pushing around paint, experimenting with materials and being creative! It was an opportunity for folks to see the materials through the artist’s eyes and experience the paint in a whole new way; a day for collaboration, idea sharing and fun!
New GOLDEN Web Technique
There’s a new Fine Art Technique called Textured and Colored Drawing Grounds available on the GOLDEN website. This technique illustrates how a wide assortment of GOLDEN colors, gels and pastes can be used as drawing grounds for pastels, charcoal and colored pencils.
