Transitions:

Jim SemitekolMacPherson’s esteemed Chief Operations Officer and Executive VP, will be retiring at the end of 2017.  Jim joined MacPherson’s in 2001 as Director of Operations and has played a key role in our growth and success. After the new year Jim will continue to serve MacPherson’s as a consultant three to four days per week. Please join all of us here at MacPherson’s in wishing him all the best in his transition to retirement. Strathmore’s Senior Account Manager for the Southeast, Don Bradley, will be retiring from the company at the end of 2017. His knowledge, customer care, mentorship, character, integrity, humor, and, most of all, his overwhelmingly loving heart will be missed by many. With great sadness we report the recent passing of Barbara Berger, Nuremburg-based marketing and sales manager at STABILO responsible for North America. We will miss you Barbara.

KatieKatie Geldhof and her late husband, Mark, opened the Kent, OH art supply store All Media 40 years ago. A community-based locally-oriented store, they’ve always believed in giving back starting with those who they employ. “It’s all artists that work here,” says Katie, proudly. Now it is time for a transition so Katie is planning to sell the store to one of those artist employees, Brian Smith, a landscape painter. Brian has been working at the store for 25 years.
