At ColArt Americas Jim Allery has accepted the newly created position of VP Operations. He will be based in ColArt’s Piscataway, NJ office and distribution center and will be responsible for logistics, operations and purchasing.
Michael Hammer’s son Abe Hammer will join the Sampro team after graduating with a BBA degree next month from the University of Miami School of Business. Abe will continue to live in Miami and will be the third generation in the Hammer family business. The Sampro team is excited to begin this next phase in development with Abe’s contributions and perspective.
Some positive new/old additions at Sanford/Newell as Dan Canny has accepted the position of Key Account Manager – East Coast. In this position Dan will focus on driving growth for all Newell brands with art and craft customers within his territory mostly on the east coast and mid-west.
At Armadillo Peter Catharine has accepted a new full time position as Director of Sales filling the role previously held by Nick Graham. Peter brings 40 years’ experience in the art materials industry on both sides of the Atlantic and around the globe to the position including holding executive positions at Winsor & Newton/ColArt, Artcraft and Crescent Cardboard.
