Paul Bradshaw recently joined Pacon as their National Sales Director, Strathmore Artist Papers. Paul spent the majority of his career with Appleton Coated, where he began as the Market Manager of Coated Publishing Papers and rose to the position of Senior Vice President, Publishing Papers. After Appleton Coated, Paul was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the FutureMark Paper.
Newell Rubbermaid announced recently its intention to acquire Elmer’s Products, Inc.® from Berwind Corporation, a family-owned investment management company. The acquisition is expected to close by year-end.
According to a National Retail Foundation (NRF) survey retailers are in for a big holiday seasons that will continue to be influenced by all things digital. Consumers celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah and/or Kwanzaa will spend an average of $805.65 on food items, decorations, gifts and more over the holiday season, the highest amount in the survey’s 14-year history. Spending on gifts for family members will total $462.95, up from $458.75 last year and also a survey high.
