GOLDEN Technical Support Services Department Grows!
Committed to providing artists with detailed information about materials and applications, the Technical Support Services team at GOLDEN is connected to the artist community on a daily basis either via email or phone in order to answer their questions and best meet their needs. In addition to answering questions, they also write articles for the Golden website and Just Paint newsletter, as well as conduct research on art materials. In order to meet these demands and increase the resources available to artists, Golden has hired two new artists to join the team!
Cathy Jennings is a painter of representational landscapes in series that explore specific places. She works with oils, acrylics or watercolors as dictated by the painting she is creating, and paints both in the studio and on location. She has painted and taught in numerous places, including Pennsylvania, Texas, New Mexico and California. She earned an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD from Texas Tech University. Cathy recently moved to New York to join the GOLDEN Technical Support team as a Material Specialist. Images of her paintings can be found at her website www.cjenningsgallery.com
According to Stacy Brock, she was born a painter and has been studying, researching, enjoying and making art all her life. She paints large acrylic geometric abstractions leaning toward the side of Op Art, smaller semi-abstracted figure paintings, and intricately glazed wheel thrown pottery. She received a BFA from Hartford Art School at The University of Hartford. She majored in Painting and has extensive study in English and Ceramics.

GOLDEN Welcomes New Customer Service Supervisor! Golden is pleased to introduce you to their new Customer Service Supervisor, Lori Law! Lori comes to GOLDEN most recently from ACCO Brands and previously from Procter & Gamble, where collectively she has served as a Global Project Manager, and in Customer Service, Buying and Planning positions. She has over 15 years experience in leadership and project management in manufacturing environments.
